Hemosponge® is a sterile, gelatin-based foam designed for hemostatic use in surgical procedures. This fast-acting, safe, and effective hemostatic sponge boasts a well-established clinical safety profile. Hemosponge® rapidly halts various types of bleeding, outpacing the body’s natural clotting process.

Crafted from highly purified gelatin, a collagen-derived protein, Hemosponge® is biodegradable and metabolized by proteolytic enzymes, fully absorbing into the body within 4-6 weeks. The product undergoes gamma sterilization to ensure utmost sterility.

Hemosponge® is meticulously packaged in a double-envelope system, offering dual assurance of sterility. This includes two types of primary packing for added safety and reliability.
